Since Day 1 over 100 years ago, student team members have been an essential part of our team. What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
I love the community at the Duck Store. I have been able to make countless friends during my time here!
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
BS in Economics and a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
What are your post-graduation plans?
I am looking for jobs in financial analytics and financial planning.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
My major career aspiration is to love my job and have fun at work!
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
I have learned countless lessons and skills at the Duck Store and all will help me any career. The main skill I am taking away is the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
I loved being apart of the panhellenic community on campus.
What will you miss most about campus?
I will miss the beauty of campus the most, all of the gorgeous buildings and nature.

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
I really enjoy the behind-the-scenes impact I have working in the warehouse at The Duck Store. It's fulfilling to know that my efforts in organizing, stocking, and preparing orders contribute to the store's overall success. I also value the camaraderie and teamwork. My team consistently supports one another, and we've built a strong bond that enables us to work efficiently and achieve success together. The problem-solving and collaboration involved in ensuring everything is where it needs to be make every day both challenging and rewarding.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
My Major is Political Science with a double minor in legal studies and Sociology
What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan to take a gap year and then apply to law schools.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
In the future, my goal is to pursue a career as a lawyer.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
Working in the warehouse at The Duck Store has taught me several valuable lessons and skills that I will carry forward into my career. I've developed strong organizational and time management skills by ensuring inventory is stocked and orders are processed efficiently. The teamwork and camaraderie with my colleagues have shown me the importance of collaboration and mutual support in achieving shared goals. Additionally, I've learned the value of adaptability and problem-solving when faced with challenges like tight deadlines or unexpected issues. Working in Online Ops, I've also gained a deep understanding of efficiency and quickness, ensuring that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately. These experiences have strengthened my work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment—essential qualities I will bring to my future endeavors.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
I enjoyed working game days at the Autzen Store. It was fun to see all the excited fans and to see the team go undefeated at home this season. It was a good way to cap off my senior year.
What will you miss most about campus?
What I’ll miss most about the University of Oregon campus is the vibrant sense of community and energy that fills every corner. From the beautiful greenery and iconic landmarks like Autzen Stadium to the student events and lively atmosphere, the campus always feels alive with possibility. I think I’ll miss being so close to all the athletics on campus. Having grown up an Oregon fan, it’s been an amazing experience to have easy access to sports right at my fingertips. I'll especially miss the connections I’ve made with coworkers and students and the shared sense of pride in being part of the Duck community. The campus has been more than just a place to work—it’s been a place where I’ve grown, learned, and made lasting memories.

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
The thing I most enjoy about the Duck Store is having the opportunity to get to know my coworkers and build friendships with them.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
I am majoring in Sociology with a minor in women's, gender, and sexuality Studies. I will be receiving my bachelor's in Sociology.
What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan to move to Portland or Chicago, where I'm originally from.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
I plan to pursue a career in social work.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
I've really been able to hone my skills in treating everyone I meet with compassion and understanding. The ability to meet people where they're at and help them get what they need is both the most fulfilling part of the job and also the lesson I will most carry with me.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
The Socialist Feminist Committee. I've learned so much about myself, my place in the world, and how I can best uplift and support women and gender-minority people's voices as I enter my career and the rest of my life.
What will you miss most about campus?
The nature. I loved being able to sit outside and study or hang out surrounded by trees (when it wasn't raining, at least). I will also miss gamedays at Autzen!

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
It was an excellent opportunity to learn about the behind the scenes operations of a major non-profit organization as well as contribute to the University of Oregon Community by serving on the board.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
Masters of Business Administration (concentrating in sustainable business practices)
What are your post-graduation plans?
I hope to help a major company set and achieve sustainability objectives that will make our world a better place to live.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
Ultimately, I would like to work in a major position with a focus on sustainability, such as a sustainability director at a major fortune 500 company.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
The Duck Store gave me the opportunity to see and experience a wide variety of important business skill sets in action; from finance, operations, and leadership, the Duck Store team is an exciting place to be.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
I participated in the Net Impact Graduate Chapter which was a wonderful club for business students with a focus on sustainable business. Having the opportunity to do real world consulting projects for Oregon businesses was a valuable experience.
What will you miss most about campus?
As a double duck, the UO campus is beloved to me. I will definitely miss the walks to Autzen stadium on game day. (Although I definitely will be returning for many games)

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
My ability to integrate my work schedule with my school and social life. My work doesn't take up too much of my time or impede on the other things that a college kid has going on. It's been amazing having this work setting the past year and a half.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
Majoring in Sports Business with a minor in Economics
What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan on getting a job with a sports related organization (whether its a pro team, university, or apparel) and work within their finance department. I am super passionate about how sports can interact with the business environment and the effects finance has on pretty much everything.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
In the end I want to become a sports agent or work for a sports agency. Even now their are countless career paths via sports agencies that don't need a law school or even pre-law background. Being able to directly represent athletes that will be continuously bringing me entertainment and joy, or just aid in that process is what I truly aspire to do.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
While working here I've developed that principle that having a positive relationship with your boss in extremely important. My boss (Michelle) and I have a relationship that I'd never had with a boss before, and it has made working here and absolute blast. She can always count on me, and because of that I can always count on her. During my career I will always put in that extra effort to have a stable and enjoyable relationship with my boss.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
My favorite club is the Warsaw Sports Business Club. I've only been a member since this past Fall term, but I've really enjoyed my time being a member.
What will you miss most about campus?
I will miss all of the green on campus, all the trees, grass, bushes, and UO green logos have a special place in my heart.

International Lawyer.

Time management and working under stress. Also increased caffeine tolerance lol

Theta Chi Fraternity.

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
I have enjoyed getting to know the people that I worked with and having the opportunity to learn from the leadership team.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
B.S. in Accounting
What are your post-graduation plans?
I'll be going to the University of Texas at Austin next year to earn a postgraduate degree in accounting. The following year I will start as an auditor at KPMG.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
I would love to make it to the partner level at an accounting firm.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
The biggest lesson I learned is to lead by example, no matter what your role in an organization is.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
It has been an honor to have worked at The Duck Store from the sales floor to serving as the Vice President of The Board of Directors.
What will you miss most about campus?
I'll miss going to the football games the most.

What do you enjoy the most about working at The Duck Store?
I love getting to help steer The Duck Store to ensure it maintains its mission of providing textbooks and school supplies to the Campus community. Learning about the inner workings of a retail business is immensely helpful in my own goals of pursuing a start-up.
What are you studying and what degree will you be receiving?
Ph.D. in Chemistry.
What are your post-graduation plans?
To spin out my thesis research as a start-up, and build that company up as an owner-operator.
What are your career aspirations/goals?
I would love to build up the planned start-up into a large chemical supplier, to help shape the landscape of sustainable chemical industries. Eventually, I would love to also return to teaching chemistry.
What are some experiences, skills and/or lessons learned while working for The Duck Store you'll take with you into your career?
I have made many connections, and learned a lot about the minutia of accounting and maintaining an inventory, which will help in my future business goals.
What is your favorite club, student organization, or activity you were involved with as a student?
I really enjoyed my time working in GTFF, first as a department steward and then as VP of Operations, as well as my time on the Board for TDS.
What will you miss most about campus?
I will miss the beautiful university grounds and my friends in my cohort, and how serene campus is during the summer months.
